Customer Reviews Ani Said: beautiful look, easy, and quality product ( Nov. 20th 2009 )make sure to buy square tiles in addition to triangles because these are half squares used for trim. I corrected my error, purchased the square copper tiles to add to my triangle, and used both. However, I needed them for a kitchen counter. After reading that one person got good results on the top of her island, I went for it and covered my kitchen counter using silicone clear liquid nails adhesive because of the wet surroundings. The adhesive strips that come with the tiles were not used at all. Well, the counter is absolutely beautiful and does not tarnish or stain. I am so pleased I invested the time and effort because this was easy, inexpensive and looks absolutely beautiful. You will not be disappointed, and the company tries hard to please clients. What a refreshing difference from most products and companies that are so cheap and useless nowadays. This product and company are excellent!Cocoa Puff Said: Updates my Earlier Review ( Feb. 20th 2009 )This updates my earlier review. Get Organized messed up my order again, but Amazon's Quality Assurance Department took charge after I completed the "Where's My Stuff?" inquiry. Although it took a while to complete the order (approximately 2 months), I was very pleased with the follow-up and outcome. Product Review: The tiles look great. I had my heart set on the Brushed Aluminum as my kitchen backsplash, set up in a diamond/diagonal pattern. However, the Black tiles arrived several weeks before the Brushed Aluminum, so I eventually decided to go with the Black tiles in a square pattern. They have a high gloss finish and I was amazed at how great they looked! As other reviews state, it is definitely best to not only use the self-adhesive tabs that come with the tiles, but to also apply construction adhesive for additional support. Trust me, I did this project last summer and the tiles in which I only used the self-adhesive tabs on have all come loose! Buy additional double-sided tape from the 99-cent store to have on hand - I added this additional tape to the center of each tile. As for the construction adhesive, I found that Red Devil Construction Adhesive was easier to squeeze out of the tube for this project. Liquid Nails Construction Adhesive became difficult to squeeze out over extended periods of time. Both items cost less than $3.00. I paid $2.49 for Red Devil at the Family Dollar Store, and Liquid Nails for $1.99 at Home Depot. My hands were sore for weeks from having to cut some of the tiles with scissors. I cut smaller pieces to fit in narrow corners, and although they initially looked fine, they are currently looking distorted (like they've been twisted at both ends). I'm currently searching for a solution to the corner issue. Also, I should mention that some of the tiles arrived slightly damaged (bent and/or scrape marks), but there were enough undamaged tiles that it did not affect my project. Once the Brushed Aluminum tiles arrived several weeks later, I had the "bright idea" to rip down the black tiles directly behind the stove and replace with the Brushed Aluminum in a diamond/diagonal pattern (since I had my heart set on the Brushed Aluminum for so long). Big mistake. It does not look nearly as good. For starters, the Brushed Aluminum has a dull finish, while the Black tiles really pop and give a sleek finish. In addition, setting up the diamond/diagonal pattern is far more difficult than the square pattern. However, I also used the Brush Aluminum tiles to update the look of my portable kitchen island, and it looks absolutely fabulous! I wish that Amazon carried the other colors that these tiles come in - Chrome and Almond (Cream). I received samples of these directly from the manufacturer, and they look very nice. The initial kitchen (Black tile) backsplash project took an entire weekend and still looks awesome. The "Behind-the-Stove Brushed Aluminum diamond pattern project" took 2 weekends, and required a lot of intricate cuts to fit. It looks okay, but it was way too time consuming. I would definitely order this product again!L. Santiago Said: Perfect for kitchen redo on a budget ( Aug. 28th 2008 )I ordered the triangles and the squares in order to do the diamond pattern. It looks great people cant believe how much I paid. I did use liquid nails along with the double sided tape. The liquid nails made the tiles feel more solid. Great product in my opinion.Vivian E. Bonatti Said: P{eal and stick triangle tiles ( Jul. 3rd 2008 )Just what I needed to complete my backsplash. They're perfect. Thank you.« Back BRUSHED ALUMINUM ADHESIVE WALL TILES TRIANGLE (23425B)
