make sure to buy square tiles in addition to triangles because these are half squares used for trim. I do like the way the triangles can be used as a border and trim in addition to the square tiles. I corrected my error, purchased the square copper tiles to add to my triangles, and used both. However, I needed them for a kitchen counter instead of backsplash. After reading that one person got good results on the top of her island, I went for it and covered my kitchen counter using silicone clear liquid nails adhesive because of the wet surroundings. The adhesive strips that come with the tiles were not used at all. Well, the counter is absolutely beautiful and does not tarnish or stain. I am so pleased I invested the time and effort because this was easy, inexpensive and looks absolutely beautiful. You will not be disappointed, and the company tries hard to please clients. What a refreshing difference from most products and companies that are so cheap and useless nowadays. This product and company are excellent!

These tiles look great and are as described - actual metal. The use of Liquid Nails is a must - the foam tape will hold it only while the adhesive dries. Couple points for those planning a project: - Use adhesive close to the edge as possible and be sparing. Liquid Nails and other adhesives have a degree of shrinkage. If you apply too much and in the center of the tile, it will bend and be visible. This is a case where less is more. - Try your best to make sure the surface is plumb that you are attaching them to. We've used drywall shims made of compressed cardboard to true a few walls. - If you want to have nice clean cuts, tin snips (Right, Left & Center) really help. You will still bend the tiles, but after you've done your cutouts for electrical and telco boxes, make sure you bend the tiles back flat. Use a flat countertop or something with a nice flat surface to check. It makes them fit properly with the adhesive. - If you have corners popping up, use some painters tape to secure it to a neighboring tile. Let the adhesive do its job. Above all - be patient, they will look best when you're not gunning to get it done.

tiles are VERY thin, so I would use construction adhesive along with the double-stick tabs. Easy to cut with shears, alternate the tiles to achieve a great look. I'm pleased with mine and it was very cost-effective.

The tiles themselves are great--very quick and easy to apply. However, twice Taylor Gifts/Get Organized sent me the triangle tiles instead of the square ones, and when I asked to put in another order for the squares, they tried to charge me $6 more per box than what's advertised on Amazon. The customer service reps I dealt with were uninformed and rude. Again, it's great if you get what you ordered, but if not, it might seem like a bait and switch scam, if you ask me. Buyer beware.

Thanks for all of the previous reviews that sold us on this tile. We couldn't be happier with our new kitchen!!!! We installed 5 boxes of tile in a matter of 3 hours. This was a magnificent feat considering my husband nor I know anything about tile. The installation is simple and requires tools that are readily accessible. Thankfully there are a few previous posts that helped us along the way ~THANK YOU!!! Here is what we have learned.. -When hanging tiles on a diagonal, order a box or 2 extra. The Aluminum tiles sell out fast and may be backordered if you need more. Yes this was learned from experience. -Don't waste your time ordering the triangles. Chances are good that you will have to trim them anyway. -Use Liquid Nails or construction adhesive in conjunction with the sticky tape provided. The tape will hold the tile in place while the adhesive dries. -Use a little painters tape to secure the smaller corner pieces in place while the adhesive dries. Scotch tape will leave a sticky residue. -Using paper templates for the more intricate cuts is a lifesaver! -Tin Snips work great of you need to cut rounded pieces though we had far more success with a good pair of scissors. Note that the tips may bend a little while cutting. It is easy to flatten down between the scissor blade and the counter top. -Apply aluminum caulk (it is grey and easy to find at home stores) to the seams. This was the finishing touch that really made the project look professional. We held a cook out the day following our tile project. Our guests marveled at our kitchen oblivious that this was a DIY product. One of our friends in the construction industry estimated that we spent between 1000 and 1500 on the job. We decided to keep them guessing and have yet to admit that our 30 sqft (10 boxes total) backsplash was only $120 for tile and adhesive. Bottom line.. I would give the tile 10 out of 5 stars!
